This Door Pottery vase stands a statuesque 12" high by 4.5" in diameter, 3.5" at the rim. It has a beautiful tall form. It is decorated with a single Peacock Feather, simple, yet beautiful. This vessel is glazed in a ground of organic matte yellow glaze, blushed in deep blues over the base and rim edges. The blue feather has the typical rainbow palette over the 'eye' of the feather, making a naturally beautiful presentation. It is finished to a smooth satin matte. This beauty is signed Door Pottery, and by Scott Draves, along with the potter's initials 'J.T.' for John Tiller, who likely threw the pot, and the initials P.B., but I could not validate those initials. This vessel is in original condition, with some glaze migration along the bottom edge, which does not detract from this vase in the least. This vase makes an absolutely stunning presentation.
