This very handsome D'Atelier D'Art Labrec vase was made in France c1920. A history search online reveals that the company was operated by Jack Labrec. This impressive vase measures 6.25" high by 7.25" across the handles by 6" in diameter. It has a wonderful form, with awesome reticulated handles. Best of all, it is glazed in a frothy heavy brown flambe drip glaze, laced with oyster and blue, over a matte sable brown ground. It has heavy drips, which is a very handsome accent. It is well marked Atelier D'Art Labrec, along with its shape number 503. This vessel is in excellent condition, with a simple restoration to a bead drip. This handled vessel presents beautifully.
