This very handsome D'Atelier D'Art Labrec vase was made in France c1920.  A history search online reveals that the company was operated by Jack Labrec.  This impressive vase measures 6.25" high by 7.25" across the handles by 6" in diameter.  It has a wonderful form, with awesome reticulated handles.  Best of all, it is glazed in a frothy heavy brown flambe drip glaze, laced with oyster and blue, over a matte sable brown ground.  It has heavy drips, which is a very handsome accent.  It is well marked Atelier D'Art Labrec, along with its shape number 503. This vessel is in excellent condition, with a simple restoration to a bead drip.  This handled vessel presents beautifully.
