This fairly scarce Hampshire Pottery pitcher stands a tall 8.5" high by 4.5" across the handle by 4.5" in diameter. It has a handsome form with a nice vine-like scrolled  handle with a shelf-like collared spout. This pitcher is glazed in Hampshire's signature matte green glaze, which is quite rich, shading light and dark with tremendous depth and character. It is marked 'Hampshire', albeit faint, along with its shape number '2' on the base. This vessel is in very good condition, with an excellent restoration to a horizontal line in the body just near the base. This pitcher makes a wonderful Arts & Crafts presentation.
