This Heinz Silvercrest vintage calendar holder measures 3.5" high by 3.5" across by 1.5" wide. It has a classic calender display form, made of bronze with sterling silver overlay accents. It has an Arts & Crafts styling, c1920, with a Greek Key pattern design in sterling silver over bronze. The Smith Art Metal Co. 'Heintz' became Smith Art Metal Co around 1920. Shortly thereafter the company changed its name to Silver Crest. This calendar display is stamped Silver Crest Sterling Decorated Bronze #124. It is in near original condition with handling marks and silver tarnish, which could use a good cleaning. We have not tried to polish it, leaving that to the buyer. This more than 100+ year old Silver Crest desk piece would make a nice addition to other accessories in this pattern.
