This Rookwood tray stands a mere 1/2" high by 6.5" long by 3" wide. It has a simple, elongated form. Best of all, it was designed by Kataro Shirayamadani in 1909. This tray is glazed in a nice soft yellow glaze, finished to a satin mat. It is well marked on the base with the Rookwood logo, along with its shape number 1668, and dated 1928. It is in original factory condition, with some minor peppering in the glaze, which can be seen in the photos.
