This fairly scarce Roseville Pottery original Art Deco lamp base stands 9" high by 7" across the handles by 6.5" in diameter. It has a beautiful full-bodied form with handsome bifurcated strap handles at its sides. It is adorned with a gorgeous Art Deco blossoms in relief covering the body of the lamp base with green leaves filling in all around. This original lamp base is glazed in a nice cinnamon ground glaze, with combination yellow and lavender blossoms, all covered in a delicate frost and finished to a satin mat. It is marked in grease pencil with the letter/number code F76. This Roseville form was only ever made as a lamp base, never a vase line, although....coulda...woulda...shoulda comes to mind. It is guaranteed to be vintage Roseville, circa 1930. It is in original condition, without hardware, and presents beautifully as a vase form. This original Roseville lamp base makes a stellar Art Deco presentation!
