This Virginia Metalcrafters tray measures 1" high by 10" across by 2.5" wide. It has the form of a 'Butterfly Bush' leaf. Virginia Metalcrafters produced a series of leaf trays as decorative trays in all sorts of leaf species. It is made of metal, not sure of the composition, but it has their signature timeworn goldtone patina. The Virginia Metalcrafters Company was in operation for more than 100 years in Waynesboro, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This leaf tray is in very good condition, with a small spot of tarnish on the underside, and just normal handling wear from more that 70 years of use.
