This Weller Matte Green candlestem measures 7" high by 4.5" across the handle by 4.5" in diameter at the base and 2" at the rim, a very heavy and handsome chamberstick. It has an Arts & Crafts styling with a ribbed body. Better yet, the matte green glaze on this stem is shaded in a very rich and organic matte green glaze, shading very dark green near the base. This candlestem is well-marked in Weller's early incised script on the base, 'Weller Hand Made', and guaranteed to be vintage Weller Pottery c1905. It is in original factory condition, with factory stilt marks on the underside, but no apologies. If you like Weller's Matte Green glaze, this candlestem is a beauty!
