This lovely Weller Lavonia set includes a Lady ornament measuring 6" high by 5" across by 3" wide and a Bud and Leaf bulb bowl measuring 3" high by 9.5" in diameter. The Lady ornament is simply an ornamental object sitting in the bowl, which presents as if she is peeking over a ledge into a pond, a charming and clever presentation. The Lavonia line hails from the Art Deco period, late 1920s to the early 1930s. It is characterized by its pastel shaded tones in a matte finish. This set shades in a stunning pinkish lavender blush glaze with a satin matte finish. The ornament is marked "WELLER' in block letters. The bowl is unmarked, but guaranteed to be vintage Weller Pottery. The set is in original factory condition with just two no-harm skips of glaze on the Lady's back, showing the underglaze, which is well-shown in the photos. This set, in a luscious mat glaze, makes a beautiful presentation.
