This Weller Malverne candlestick stands 2" high by 4.5" across by 4" in diameter. It has a simple handled form, with the handle connecting the candlecup to the base platform. The Malverne line was introduced in the early 1930s. The line has a wonderful array of organic shapes and designs. This candlestick is decorated with two leaves in relief. It is glazed in orange, brown and green with a white speckled overglaze. It is well-marked on the base with the 'Weller Pottery' script, incised.
